We’re introducing a revolutionary way to manage organic waste in both urban and rural areas: Black Soldier Fly (BSF) composting bins. These innovative bins offer a clean, efficient, and odour-free alternative to traditional composting methods. By harnessing the power of BSF larvae, these bins dramatically reduce organic waste while producing nutrient-rich compost. The mature larvae are a valuable resource for livestock feed or fishing bait, creating additional income opportunities. We’re launching a pilot program in three communities this quarter, made possible by funding from the US Embassy in Kingston. Following the pilot, we’ll offer bins and training at a cost to the general public.
